Youth Group Pilgrimage to Ireland
St. Clare’s high school youth are invited to go on a one-week pilgrimage to visit Ireland this summer, August 7-14. Participants will journey the steps of St. Kevin of Glendalough and walk the Wicklow Way — an ancient pilgrimage trail used by Christians for over a thousand years.
We also need some adult chaperones, but be advised that this isn’t just sight-seeing: Prayer, worship, and reflection are mandatory parts of the experience among some of the most revered sites of early Christianity. It also requires walking — approximately 8-12 miles, including hills — and only those fit enough to do so,
