While we come together as a whole for worship, and for several community events and dinners throughout the year, there are also many opportunities to get to know one another in small group settings. Whether centered on fellowship, studying the scriptures, understanding the bible in our contemporary culture, prayer, or the love of good books, we have a small group that might interest you. And if we don’t . . . Well, we’re always open to starting a new group!
Please register yourself and we’ll have a small group leader contact you.
About 8-10 people gather monthly for dinner in one another's homes just to share food and friendship. Generally, the host provides the main dish and guests bring side dishes. The groups are reshuffled twice a year, making Fellowship Circles a great way to get to know new St. Clare’s friends!
The Wired Word
Meets weekly to discuss current events against the backdrop of scripture and faith.
Wine and Divine
A small group that meets monthly for bible study (and wine!)
Men and Women Cooking Dangerously
Men and Women Cooking Dangerously is the St. Clare’s cooking club. We prepare meals for the congregation from Gumbo and pancakes at Shrove Tuesday, to Mother’s Day Brunch and Thanksgiving Dinners! Furthermore, we enjoy cooking classes with professional and award winning chefs! No cooking experience needed to be a part of this lively and fun group!
St. Clare’s Book Club
The book club continues to welcome new members. It meets at 7 p.m. on the third Monday of the month. For more information contact the church office.
