Summary of Activities Within My Congregation: Altar Guild, composting and gardening project, occasional Sunday School teacher.

Interests and activities: Environmental impact/awareness, children’s faith formation
In my opinion the major issues facing the church today are: engagement of young
families and shaping children’s faith, environmental stewardship.

Why are you running for this position? I would like to help reduce the carbon footprint of St. Clare’s and show parishioners that there are easy steps they can do at home to reduce their impact. I feel strongly that if we say we care about our children’s future, we should act now. A small action goes a long way. No one (especially me) or organization is perfect, but we can all take steps today. I would like to build on the success of the composting and garden projects and would love to hear ideas from our congregation.
