The Easter Season is a time of joy in the resurrection, but also a time of uncertainty: What comes next? We at St. Clare’s are also wondering what our future as a parish holds after Father Ron’s retirement. Christ told his disciples — and he tells us — ‘Just you wait.’ God has promised to send the Holy Spirit to bring us comfort, truth, and the power to transform the world. And so we will celebrate Pentecost on May 24 as a new beginning — both the birthday of the church and a time of renewal at St. Clare’s. Like the disciples, we will gather for a lay-led Morning Prayer service filled with special music as we welcome the Holy Spirit to show us what God has in store for us next. Come, Holy Spirit, Come!
A time of transition
Our longtime rector, the Rev. Ronald Culmer, has retired and St. Clare’s is in a period of transition while we search for a new rector. If you have any special needs or questions, contact the church office at [email protected] or call at 925-462-4802. The church office is open Monday-Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
